Research · First edition
A forthcoming benchmark of which firms, publishers and communities own non-branded prop trading demand. The methodology is published before the ranking.
Published method
Define a fixed, non-branded query set across challenge, rules, payouts, platform and trust intent
Record the ranking domains and page types in a fixed collection window
Group visibility by firm, affiliate, publisher, forum and media property
Score positions one to ten and weight each of the five query families equally
Publish collection date, exclusions, limitations and correction route
Do not infer revenue, customer count or product quality from search visibility
Measurement frame
The index compares visibility within a fixed taxonomy. It does not turn an arbitrary keyword list into a synthetic league table.

Scoring protocol
The scoring model is fixed before domains are collected. It uses organic position and equal family weighting, not estimated traffic, revenue or product quality.
A query must be non-branded, fit one published demand family and express a stable category question. Brand names, navigational searches, news events and market-specific terms outside the edition scope are excluded.
The top ten organic results are recorded from the disclosed market, device and collection window. Paid placements and search features are logged separately and do not receive organic visibility points.
Each ranking domain is mapped to a named property and classified as a firm, affiliate, publisher, forum or media property. If one entity controls multiple ranking URLs or domains, only its highest-ranked result receives points for that query. Uncertain ownership remains domain-level and is disclosed.
Position one receives 10 points, position two receives 9, continuing linearly to 1 point at position ten. A domain outside the top ten receives zero for that query.
Points earned within a query family are divided by the maximum available points for that family and expressed as a score from 0 to 100.
The five family scores are averaged with equal 20 per cent weighting. Equal family weighting prevents a larger query list from deciding the index by volume alone.
The release records the query set, collection date and exclusions. A documented classification or collection error can be submitted for review and any correction is logged with the edition.
